5D is a textile company located in the north of Portugal, specialized on denim and woven garments. Founded in 2016, 5D quickly expanded from a local business into a prestigious international manufacturing company, producing for some of the most renowned international brands.

100% of our production is Made in Portugal. Carlos is an optimistic and determinated person, who always had a clear vision of the company and its goals. His commitment and passionate attitude influence everyone around him. He is keen of running early morning before going to work.

Andreia is co-founder of 5D and the person behind the company processes, image and comercial struture. Andreia is very focused and rigorous, characteristics that add value to the creative and visual bases of her routes on architecure and fashion.
COMERCIAL DIRECTOR
Maria is highly professional and organized person, who has always a smile on her face and a positive attitude that motivates all team. She loves travelling, listen to reggaeton and going to the beach.
PATTERN-MAKER
Rita is a calm and focused professional, and she tends to create a warm and friendly environment around her.
Her passion is to spend time in nature, at her home garden and also loves cooking.

With a very high skill in pattern making, Marcelo is detail-oriented and very professional. He is a discreet person that does not like to be the center of attentions. He is keen on going out with friends and spending time with is cats.
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Cristina is a very discreet and rigorous professional that manages perfectly all financial, accounting and human resources matters. When not at work Cristina likes to spend time with her family, cats, dogs and other animals that she has.

Paula is a leader by nature, very close to her team. She easily controls the production of completely different styles, always with a thorough and focused attitude.

Vasco is a highly expertized sewing man, who knows deeply the best way to make a either a jeans, a classical suit or a gown dress. He is passionate about his work, and very committed to it.

FINISHING & PACKING DPT. MANAGER
Margarida is a very dedicated professional that leads finishing and packing department. Lived in Brazil for some years, where she got her knowledge. As a hobby she likes to sew, which is curious as during working day she leads with final steps of garments production.
Our R&D team identifies trends and provide adjustable solutions to answer and improve our client’s conceptions: selecting raw materials and accessories, developing sustainable washes and presenting new fits.
SAMPLES
5D understands the major importance of samples department as it is here that all developments are born. For this reason we count on a large sampling department capable of executing large salesman collections and approval samples in the shortest possible lead-times, always making sure that the highest quality standards are met.
PATTERNS & STUDIES
The pattern/studies department is a vital part of the business. 5D counts with a vast and experienced team, used to interpret and communicate with each client on a daily basis so that the end product is the idealized one. Our pattern and technical systems allow us if needed to convert from any other system so that distances are shortened.
Achieving the natural jeans fade is only possible through a meticulous combination of crafted techniques with washing technology, always taking into account the characteristics of each fabric (composition, color, structure and weight).
Our concern is to focus on the most eco-frindly washing techniques in order to reduce the consumption of water, to make water recycling and use less chemicals as possible. In order to achieve this goal we work with Laser, Ozono, Icelite e Eco Blast treatments.
We work in a Full Production system.
We are organized in order to produce different styles in simultaneously .This allows a greater versatility of our workers, as each one of them is able to execute several different operations in contrast to the more conventional process of line production. This method has been very rewarding as it allows our production team to work in different operations instead of routine ones, and allows him/her to experience directly the fruits of its effort and know-how. In addition to the obvious benefit of happy workers, this process simultaneously allows 5D a maximization of production capacity.
We ensure the highest quality through control mechanisms that are implemented at each stage of the production process. Our quality control team make sure that all steps are performed in accordance with the customer’s specifications: from the reception of fabrics, supervision of cutting, manufacturing and washing phases until the dispatch of the finished product.
Our dedicated logistics team manages every process to ensure orders are processed accordingly and that garments are delivered on time. Our strategic location in the north of Portugal, served by a complete communications network that serves the whole of Europe, facilitates the transport and reduces the production’s delivery lead-time, as well as the carbon foot print of each garment produced.

We are committed to assure the highest standards of sustainable manufacturing production. In order to achieve it we implemented internal processes to reduce water and energy, and we always focus on selecting ecological fabrics, accessories and washes. 5D is certificated for Organic Cotton garment manufacture: GOTS certified: CU1015217
